Hello everybody!

It has been an eventful year at the Center for the Working Poor. In our newsletter we have both our regular house update, in which you can get a small update on everyone living in the community over the past year. There is also an article about my latest trip to Europe, where I visited the Taizé community, a monastic community that practices new forms of contemplative chanting. You can read about it in this newsletter. You can also find an article I was moved, written this year, about the training institute that the Center for the Working Poor founded with the Ayni Institute and other social movement activists, called Momentum. This is an article from Vice Magazine, and is one of the most comprehensive pieces that has been written about Momentum, and features both me and my work partner, Carlos Saavedra. You can find it here: https://tinyurl.com/tklnaye It’s hard to imagine that the CWP has now existed for over 10 years. It continues to change and grow. We have been the incubator of many new projects and new organizations. But one thing that has remained is our dependency on our supporters like you. We want to thank everyone for your donations and support. We can’t do this without you.
